<p><em>Please note that a background selling custom software solutions is absolutely mandatory — unfortunately, we cannot consider candidates without it. </em></p>
<p>Requirements:<br />
==========================================</p>
<p>- Five years minimum of documented proven success in a product / service sales environment<br />
- Complex business solutions and custom software experience and have excellent presentation skills to support your “hunter” approach to sales and building a client list<br />
- Open and manage client accounts and relationships<br />
- Interface with our project managers<br />
- Monitor communication between our Project Managers and clients<br />
- Follow up on leads, cold calling, maintaining and building trust relationships<br />
- You are self-driven<br />
- Your presentation skills are considered excellent by your peers and managers<br />
- You are a “closer”<br />
- You are a “leader”<br />
- You are honest and respectful<br />
- You are excellent at keeping customers informed, happy, and coming back for more<br />
- You are convinced that one day you will be “running the show” in building business and clients<br />
- You should be local to San Diego and be able to occasionally meet with our management<br />
- Experience with Salesforce.com is a huge plus</p>
<p>Compensation is based on experience and can be a combination of percentage of sales, base salary, or both.</p>

<h3>B2B Software Sales Representative</h3>
<p>We are seeking sales representatives to sell our social networking software platform and custom software development services.</p>
<p>If you have a passion for technology sales, a great attitude, thrive in an environment that is challenging and rewards those who deliver results, this opportunity is for you.</p>
<p>The Sales Representative will have responsibility for aggressive lead generation, conference follow up, coordinating and performing product demonstrations, generating proposals, negotiating contracts, and responding to inquiries from new prospects and current customers, provide additional support functions to the sales team and other tasks as assigned.</p>
<p>Essential Functions/Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Under limited supervision, sells company products via the      telephone, email, and in person</li>
<li>Generate sales leads globally</li>
<li>Must be able to organize activities and handle multiple      projects simultaneously with effective and timely follow-up on each.</li>
<li>Must possess skills in consultative sales and negotiating      techniques.</li>
<li>Must be self-directed and self-motivated.</li>
<li>Excellent human relations skills, including written and verbal      communications and group presentation skills are required.</li>
<li>Possess a positive attitude while operating under pressure, and      be an independent problem-solver.</li>
<li>Must have working knowledge of the organization with a level of      technical skills required to complete assignments.</li>
<li>Use extensive knowledge of company products to provide      customers with information and promote product sales.</li>
<li>Strong computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office      products</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and be accountable for revenue      growth.</li>
<li>Must be able to make decisions and solve problems that are      general in nature and for which there are precedents.</li>
<li>Uses Webex (or similar software) to monitor and perform Internet       based demonstrations</li>
<li>Provides support, ideas, and information to assist with product      development and marketing.</li>
<li>Resolves customer issues and problems while maintaining      positive relations with a focus on service excellence.</li>
<li>In future, may assist in training and overseeing new sales      representatives.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as required.</li>
</ul>
<p>Preferred Qualifications and Requirements:</p>
<p>This position requires 3-5 years sales, marketing, or related experience; specifically two years experience in inside/outside consultative telephone sales successfully selling complex business-to-business software solutions; excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong computer skills including Microsoft Office / Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM system and others. The individual must have solid sales skills which include listening, negotiating, and closing techniques; and a minimum of one year experience compiling proposals and negotiating contracts. This position requires a high degree of professionalism. Periodic travel may also be required of the successful candidate.</p>
<p>Education/Certifications/Training:</p>
<p>Bachelors degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or equivalent; related work experience can be substituted for educational requirement.</p>
<p>This is commission based. Social networking software sales is extremely hot and is a big ticket item. Earn $3500 – $5500+ per sale in commission, depending on experience and sales ability.</p>
